The sixteenth edition of FIDAE will be held from 23-28th March, 2010 at Aeropuerto Internacional Arturo Merino Benitez Santiago de Chile, Chile. This year FIDAE will also celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Chilean Air Force.

FIDAE is the largest, most significant air show in Latin America supported by the Chilean Government and Air Force. This biennial event brings together aerospace and defence companies, airlines, and other key players from the global aviation and defence communities.

FIDAE is said to be the leading fair in Latin America and one of the five most important aeronautical fairs in the world.The aerospace and defence fair will offer comprehensive service, gathering products and services from all the five fields: civil-commercial aviation, defence, aircraft maintenance, airport equipment and space technology, Homeland security.

At FIDAE 2008, there were approximately 430 exhibiting companies from 43 countries, and over 40,000 visitors.
