MOSCOW (BNS): India and Russia will be working jointly for the development of the stealth aircraft mainly focusing on the design concept and technical requirements put forward by India.
According to a news report by the Russian news agency RIA Novosti, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) will have 25% share in the design and development. The new aircraft, to be jointly developed by HAL and Sukhoi will be based on the lines of T-50 PAK FA protype. "The fifth-generation fighter jointly developed by India could be completed by 2015-2016. It is a complex project," Alexander Fomin, first deputy head of the Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation, was quoted as saying by Ria Novosti.
