Armenia to receive first Sukhoi Superjet 100 in Feb

MOSCOW (BNS): Russia will deliver the first Sukhoi Superjet 100 to Armenian Armavia airlines in February, according to officials.

Russian news agency Ria Novosti quoting regional transport minister Sergei Ivashkin said, the SN 95007 will be handed over to Armavia after carrying out further tests.

Sergei Ivashkin said 64 test flights had already been conducted.

The Superjet 100 is a family of medium-haul passenger aircraft developed by Sukhoi in cooperation with U.S. and European aviation corporations. The orders for the plane have reached 170, reports said.
