FLORIDA (BNS): NASA has postponed Discovery’s Tuesday launch till Wednesday due to inclement weather.

The launch attempt for space shuttle Discovery was called off Tuesday morning because of poor weather in the area. The launch team will make another attempt Wednesday morning at 1:10 a.m. EDT, the US space agency said in its website.

On Monday, shuttle weather officer Kathy Winter had said that there was an 80% possibility of shuttle being blasted off on Tuesday.

NASA has fixed four dates between August 25 and August 30 to launch the spacecraft.

“Space shuttle Discovery will carry the Leonardo supply module to the International Space Station during STS-128, along with a new crew member for the station, Nicole Stott,” NASA said.
