Indian Army Chief visits BrahMos pavilion at Aero India 2019

BENGALURU (BNS): General Bipin Rawat, Chief of Army Staff, Indian Army on Wednesday came on a visit to the BrahMos pavilion at Aero India 2019 where the Joint Venture company is showcasing the BRAHMOS missile in various configurations.

Dr. Sudhir Kumar Mishra, CEO & MD, BrahMos Aerospace, DS & DG (BrahMos), DRDO briefed the Army Chief about the BRAHMOS weapon system and its recent successful achievements and progress. The Army Chief also interacted with senior BrahMos officials about the BRAHMOS Weapon System.

The BRAHMOS is the world's fastest supersonic cruise missile. It is a precision strike weapon for Army, Navy as well as Air Force and can be fitted in Ships, Mobile Launchers, Submarines and Aircraft against land and sea targets.
