VIRGINIA BEACH (BNS): Northrop Grumman subsidiary AMSEC LLC has received $794 million indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ), multiple-award contract from US Navy Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR).

Under the contract, the company will provide shipboard, submarine and shore-based Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) global installation support.

In addition, the contract includes an option that, if exercised, would increase the ceiling value to approximately $1.3 billion.

"This contract provides AMSEC the opportunity to provide SPAWAR with a wide-range of expertise in support of their critical mission," Harris Leonard, vice president of Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding and president of AMSEC LLC, said.

The US Navy C4I Installation support contract is expected to be completed by January 2016.
