KOZHIKODE (PTI): A delegation of Royal Australian Navy is on a nine-day visit to the Indian Naval Academy at Ezhimala in Kannur District.
The delegation of three midshipmen, led by Lieutenant Joseph Mckay of Royal Australian Navy, which arrived at INA on September 25, was aimed at building bridges of friendship between the two navies, an INA release said on 1st October.
The visit also gave an opportunity for the cadets at INA to learn and understand the training processes and philosophy that Royal Australian Navy follows, it said.
The visiting delegates were also exposed to the land of 'God's Own Country' (Kerala), through visits to places of historical and cultural interest in and around INA.
"It was a mutually satisfying and enriching experience for the young officers of both the navies," the release added.
